If you ever take your dog to the park, you will fully understand how related to you is your dog. If your pooch runs out to the other dogs the second you take them to the park, then your dog prefers other dog’s company more. If the opposite happens, and your dog stays close to you, then you have a dog that prefers your company over that of the other dogs.
